Frown Lines

On the other hand untreated muscles contract normally allowing facial expression to remain unaffected.

If frown line wrinkles are making you look older than you should, cosmetic injections can smooth these out and give you a more youthful appearance. However, this procedure will not improve the more common “static” wrinkles that are unrelated to facial muscle contraction.

A very fine needle is used for this purpose and a minute amount of anti-wrinkle product is injected into several locations of the upper face. People who have gone through the frown line treatment procedure say that they feel a tiny sting sensation when the injection takes place. Though slight bruising of the skin can be noticed on the injection side other than this there will be no visible sign of the treatment.

Bruising are uncommon and very mild in nature. There is no complication in this cosmetic denervation, but sometimes medication migrate from this original position, this might cause temporary weakness of close muscles. Rarely this issue reaches to the stage of asymmetry facial expression and dropping of the eyelid. Though the risk of side effects depends highly on the muscle which is injected.
