Prepare for PRP/PRF: hydrate, avoid meds, follow post-care for best results.
As you prepare for your PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) or PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) treatment, a few simple steps can help ensure the best results. Before your appointment, stay hydrated, avoid anti-inflammatory medications (like ibuprofen) for at least 48 hours, and refrain from smoking or alcohol to optimize your blood quality. On the day, have a light meal and arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. Post-treatment, avoid strenuous exercise, direct sun exposure, and skincare products with active ingredients for a few days.
Gentle care and following your practitioner’s advice will help you achieve a smooth recovery and glowing results.
